Background Practice 02

i'll be doing these more often i think. it's important to be able to do stuff like this. especially if you want to make something that looks decent. 
drawing a background can be fun. which in this case it actually was. it's nice to learn how to draw certain envoirements. it's still hard to draw more complex things like grass for example...
but knowing i can make simplistic backgrounds like this is something reasuring
in fact i'm actually using this in my upcoming tumblr story post, i might do that more often. just put in backgrounds i make for my blog. cause sometimes they're rather big.

does anyone however have any tips on how to make rocks look more edged. basically how to make it more reall instead of having it look flat like this?
